We are a diverse group of people

At Glad Tidings, we believe that the diverse representation within our congregation reflects the vastness of God's creation. We celebrate the fact that we are all wonderfully made in His image, united in our diversity. This beautiful mosaic of nations and languages is a mere glimpse of what heaven will look like, where people from every nation and tongue will worship together in perfect harmony. Together, we create a community where everyone is valued, loved, and finds a place they can truly call home.

70 Nations

Our survey revealed an astonishing 70 different nations represented within our church community, with 133 families participating. This diverse tapestry stands as a testament to the beauty that emerges when we unite in our shared faith, regardless of our cultural backgrounds.

40 Languages

Language is a powerful connector that bridges gaps and fosters understanding. Within our congregation, we celebrate the richness of linguistic diversity, with 40 different languages spoken. Whether it's English, Spanish, French, Swahili, Portuguese, or Aruba, we embrace the opportunity to greet one another in our native tongues, celebrating the unique cultures and backgrounds that shape our worship.

6 Continents

From the 6 continents, let us acknowledge the countries that are most represented within our church community. We have eight families from Jamaica, showcasing the vibrant Caribbean influence. We also have 14 families from Nigeria, a testament to the strength of African heritage. And we proudly embrace the 19 families hailing from the UK, demonstrating the global reach of our church family. It's worth noting that all three of these countries share English as a national language, facilitating deeper connections among us.

Nations @ GT

On the map above you can see which countries we have represented at GT (RED) as a visual representation. We know that there are countries represented at GT that haven’t filled out our survey (for example those that are new in the past year). We encourage you to fill out the survey if you haven’t already done so.
