Missions

At Glad Tidings, we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission through partnerships with Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) Global Workers and other intentional ministries that serve locally, across Canada, and around the world. With the power of the Holy Spirit, we are witnesses of Christ, making disciples in every nation. “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

Partnering with what God is doing.

At Glad Tidings, our mission is to impact the world for Christ by partnering with over 20 ministries and organizations, both locally and globally, to fulfill the Great Commission. We believe in the power of community and collaboration, working closely with Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) Global Workers and other ministries to share the gospel and make disciples of all nations.

Our ministry serves a wide audience, from our local neighbourhood to the farthest reaches of the globe. We regularly engage with our partners, sending out short-term mission teams to witness firsthand what God is doing in various communities. These trips are not just about giving but about receiving as well—our teams return home with a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of purpose, inspired to live out their faith in more impactful ways.

Key activities include supporting church planting efforts, providing humanitarian aid, and equipping local leaders in their mission work. Whether it’s serving in a local food bank, helping to build a church in a remote village, or sharing the love of Christ with those who’ve never heard the gospel, we are committed to making a tangible difference.

One of the unique aspects of our ministry is the hands-on approach we take. We don’t just give financial support; we actively engage with our partners through prayer, encouragement, and physical presence. When our teams return, they carry with them the stories of God’s work around the world, sparking a desire in others to get involved and live differently.

We believe that these partnerships are not only a way to bless others but also a way to strengthen our own faith community. The relationships built during these mission trips create a deep sense of unity and purpose, reminding us that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves. Through our ministry, we are fulfilling our part in Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
